Musical soundtracks for the soul, mind & body

HEALING!  

During this rebuild of my website, I spent many hours listening to the each of the 27 albums.  Yes, my music has fallen into several genres...New Age, Meditational, Solo Piano, Contemporary Instrumental, ambient, space...to name a  few.  Yes, my music can fit in all those genres. In reality most of the titles, project one thing to the listener ... it is HEALING!  Is this a recognized genre?  In my search to see if there are artists creating and specifically calling their music HEALING!,  I found just a few.  So in the spirit that my music has always been, I am calling it HEALING!

During LIVE concerts I have been known to say, "I am glad you are here. Yet, in these moments, I am playing for my benefit."  Over the years I know I could always count on the piano and keyboards to be there for me. 

Upon reflection, although I have been using my gift to heal others, I have been healing my spirit as well. So from the day forward, I am claiming my music to be HEALING! It is my wish that my music, past and future, will find the ears of those who are in search.  May the music find the ears of those who are in search .

 As I said before, the music is HEALING! Where else would I put it to expose it to a larger audience?  Video is the logical choice. I AM Creative Sessions

The I AM Creative Sessions are designed to energize music with a consciously chosen and vocalized intention.  Generally it is one-on-one situation.  The client brings an intention for the session. The first few minutes get the intention very specifically worded for the session.  Then, the client's angels and spirit guides are invited to join the session.  My spirit guides are already present, as they are always with me when I am creating any music.  With the intention clearly spoken,  I begin the music. 

During this time I am not consciously choosing which direction the music will flow.  My focus and the client's focus is on the intention.  The music flows with the intention infused into it.  A generic instrumental choice begins the session.  The melodies and soundscape coming forth are not predetermined. 

All sessions are recorded and the client can get the session's music in a digital and/or physical CD.  Sessions are usually done in person. Although in today's digital age, sessions can be via telephone or via Skype or Zoom.  The client usually will have access almost immediately.

Affirmation Station

Found on YouTube,  Affirmation Station is the result of a series of group sessions led by Lee Jenkins.  There is a set with a woman's voice and a set with a man's voice.  The original set of affirmations were created by Lee Jenkins. Year of Music...the story

Begun on May 1, 2011, the Year of Music project was intended as the title implies.  I created it to share some of the unreleased music I had just sitting on a hard drive.  Each day of the year had a Daily Dose of music...either piano or synth...a new or LIVE recording each day.

A short time after the year was completed, my good friend, Dave Isaacs and I were talking about various things about each other's music.  He asked  "Why did you stop the Year of Music project?"

My reply was "It was a Year of Music."  His next question was "Well, what did the project do for you?  Do you still have music?  Are you creating more than before you started?"  I said, "Of course, I have even more than when I started."

Dave said "Well...?   There was a uncomfortable moment of silence.   "I suppose I could do another year."  So for the next 9 years, beginning September 1, 2012, there is a Daily Dose.  The Year of Music actually became a decade of music.

After a break of 9 months, I was still very active in creating new music. I decided to start up again.   It became a source of inspiration for me and....unknowingly, for many others as well.  As I approached the end of the 12th year, I asked those who followed me via FaceBook, if I should continue.  I was looking for just a "like" or a thumbs up...10  thumbs was the magic number.  

A pianist from the Bay area made a comment, "It seems as if it isn't too difficult for you to continue.  You never know who will find your music just when they need it."  A high school classmate dropped a comment as well. "I listen to it every night before I lay down."   That was all I needed.  Currently the 14th Year of Music began  June 1, 2025.
